PRODUCTIONS
Plans are underway to put together a plan of action with respect to
developing a number of ideas around some production ideas that WCCTV has
planned for the long term.
These productions will be centered around the preservation and
promotion of our community's culture and heritage. It will be
about embracing and strengthening our language and customs and honoring
our Elders. Some of the ideas that have recently been discussed as
well will focus on involving and incorporating the Youth of the
community in video projects based on their interests.
WCCTV is also realistic that it needs to develop some programs that will
be aimed at generating some much needed revenue for the CH.12 Network.
These production projects will involve working with other communities,
government bodies and industry partners across the Atlantic Region for
the benefit of promoting Aboriginal initiatives in various areas through
our video productions intiatives.
Local projects are also important to us and from time to time we will be
videotaping both live and on tape and then airing these video clips to
the CH.12 audience from time to time. Some of these events that
are taped will be edited for a better viewing experience and postings of
the times will be shown on our network.
